Welcome to EMBER. These Terms of Service explain the terms that apply when you use our website or purchase products from us.

EMBER is a trading name of ALMA RITUALS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales.

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service.

Throughout these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to ALMA RITUALS LTD trading as EMBER, and “you” and “your” refer to the person using our website or placing an order.

EMBER is the name under which our products and services are marketed and sold.

2. Our Products

We aim to ensure that all product descriptions, photographs, measurements and information on our website are accurate and up to date.

Many of our products are natural, handmade or made using natural materials. This means that slight variations in colour, shape, texture, size and appearance may occur. These natural differences are part of what makes each piece unique and are not considered defects.

Where a product is handmade or naturally formed, it may not look exactly like the photographs shown on our website.

3. Placing an Order

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products selected.

Once your order has been successfully placed, you will receive an order confirmation by email. This confirms that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.

A contract between you and ALMA RITUALS LTD is formed when we confirm that your order has been accepted and dispatched.

We reserve the right to cancel an order where, for example:

• a product is unavailable;
• there has been an obvious pricing or product description error;
• we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity; or
• we are unable to fulfil the order for reasons outside our reasonable control.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, you will receive a full refund.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices displayed on our website are shown in pounds sterling (£).

We take reasonable care to ensure that prices are accurate. If an obvious pricing error is identified, we reserve the right to correct the error and contact you before processing your order.

Payment must be made at the time of placing your order using one of the payment methods available at checkout.

5. Delivery

We currently deliver to UK only. Delivery charges and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout and/or on our delivery information page.

We aim to dispatch orders within the timeframe stated on our website. Delivery times are estimates and may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our control, including postal delays.

Once your order has been handed to the delivery provider, responsibility for the delivery remains subject to the applicable consumer rights and delivery obligations under UK law.

If your order does not arrive within a reasonable timeframe, please contact us so that we can assist you.

6. Returns and Your Right to Cancel

If you are a consumer purchasing from the UK, you generally have the right to cancel an online order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.

You then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.

To request a return, please contact us at hello@emberuk.co.uk before sending anything back.

Returned items must be in their original condition and, where applicable, unused and unopened.

You may be responsible for the direct cost of returning an item unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied.

Some products may be excluded from cancellation where permitted by law, including personalised or bespoke items.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

7. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

We want you to be happy with your order. If your item arrives damaged, faulty or you receive the wrong product, please contact us as soon as possible with your order details and, where appropriate, photographs of the issue.

We will assess the problem and, where you have a legal right to a remedy, provide an appropriate solution in accordance with UK consumer law.

This may include a replacement, repair or refund depending on the circumstances.

8. Refunds

Where a refund is approved, we will refund the applicable amount using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

Where you exercise your statutory right to cancel, we will refund the cost of the goods and the applicable standard delivery charge, subject to the requirements of UK consumer law.

We may delay a refund until we have received the returned goods or you have provided evidence that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first, where permitted by law.

9. Gift Orders

If you are purchasing an item as a gift, please ensure that the delivery details supplied at checkout are correct.

Where gift options are available, any additional gift wrapping, packaging or handwritten message will be described at checkout.

10. Website Use

You may use our website for lawful purposes only.

You must not:

• use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website or systems;
• interfere with the operation or security of the website;
• copy, reproduce or commercially exploit our website content without permission; or

Where products involve candles, incense, crystals, herbs, natural materials or other items that require care when used, please follow any safety instructions provided with the product and on our website.
